Imphal: Manipur saw its best day on Monday as far as its fight against the Covid-19 pandemic is concerned with no report of any death and just 4 persons testing positive, as per an official press note from the Covid-10 Common Control Room.
The four persons from the general population who tested positive are from Imphal West, Imphal East, Thoubal and Senapati Meanwhile, during the same period leading up to 5 pm of Monday, 9 people recovered and were discharged. Seven of these from Home Isolation and 1 each from JNIMS and DH Churachandpur.
The cumulative number of positive cases is 29,072(General Population — 25,647 and Central Security Personnel — 3,425). The cumulative number of recovered cases is 28,562(General Population — 25, 152 and Central Security Personnel — 3,410). The number of active cases is 139(general population 128 and CAPF 11). The recovery rate is 98.24%.

The press note also informed that 386 persons were given Covid-19 vaccine on Monday and that the cumulative no of people vaccinated so far is 4373.
