Patna: Congress MLC and senior party leader Prem Chandra Mishra on Sunday said that with a statement of BJP MLA Gyanendra Singh Gyanu terming ministers as corrupt from his party quota, it has become clear that all is not well and Nitish Kumar government can fall any moment.

Mishra said it was a serious matter that BJP MLA Gyanendra Singh Gyanu had levelled charges of corruption against ministers in the Nitish Kumar cabinet. Mr Gyanu had also described his party in Bihar as leaderless in Bihar, he added.

Congress leader said that it was not an allegation made by the opposition but it was from BJP MLA. Had the opposition leader made such allegation, BJP leadership would have turned it as politically motivated, he noted.

Mishra said it was all the more important to note that BJP leadership had not taken any disciplinary action against Mr Gyanu. It reflected the fact that charges levelled by him against ministers were correct, he noted.

Congress leader said that all was not going well and Nitish Kumar government could fall any moment. The claim of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar of providing good and clean government stood exposed after allegations levelled by BJP MLA, he added.

Mishra said that Chief MinisteKumar should remove all corrupt ministers from his cabinet. How could Mr Kumar allow corrupt ministers to continue in his cabinet, he wondered.

Congress leader said that during a reply to a question asked by him in Bihar Legislative Council, Health Minister Mangal Pandey had said that he was not among such ministers in the cabinet. It reflected the fact that Mr Pandey was referring to corrupt ministers, he pointed out.

As it is, Gyanu had earlier alleged that most of the ministers from the BJP quota in the Nitish cabinet were corrupt. He had also turned BJP into leaderless in Bihar.
