Nepal plane with 22 passengers including 4 Indians missing

All contact was lost with the aircraft a few minutes after its take off.

Kathmandu: A Nepalese aircraft flying from Pokhara to Jomsom with 22 people onboard, including four Indians, went missing on Sunday.

According to The Himalayan Times, the 9N-AET Tara-air aircraft carrying three crew, 13 Nepali, four Indian and two German passengers had taken off from Pokhara at around 9:55 am.

All contact was lost with the aircraft a few minutes after its take off.

The Kathmandu Post quoted an air traffic controller at Jomsom Airport as saying that a helicopter has been dispatched in the areas where the last contact was made. 

The last contact was made in Lete Pass.
