Nagaland’s Rajya Sabha poll on March 31

Kohima: The election for Nagaland’s sole Rajya Sabha seat would be held on March 31, an official said on Monday.

The election has been necessitated because of the retirement of K. G. Kenye on April 2. The last date for submission of nomination is March 21.

Scrutiny of the nominations will be done at 12 noon on March 22. The last day of withdrawal is March 24.
