Kohima: One more medical student from Nagaland Olika Mlato Shikhu arrived in New Delhi on Wednesday from war-hit Ukraine, while two others are still waiting for evacuation.
According to sources, Olika informed that she was moved out from Ukraine following the Russian military offensive and reached Rzeszow in Poland, from where she took a flight to India on Tuesday evening.
She reached New Delhi yesterday in a special flight arranged by the Government of India. The Nagaland House in New Delhi has informed her that she would be flown to Nagaland tomorrow as there is no flight between Delhi-Dimapur today.
Meanwhile, two others Nagaland students studying in Ukraine, Lanu Amenla Aier and Machi Yirakchang, are still awaiting a green signal from the Indian Embassy for evacuation.
Amenla Aier from Kuda village in Dimapur is currently arriving in Chisinau, capital of Moldova, while Yirakchang from Poilwa village under Peren district, is still in Ukraine near the Hungarian border since the last information received.Â
