Nagaland records 68 new COVID positive cases

No COVID-19 related deaths were reported in the last 24 hours and the death toll in the state remained at 499, the bulletin said.

Kohima: The new cases of COVID-19 in Nagaland slightly decreased to 68 , which increased the total number of COVID- 19 cases to 25, 519 so far as since Sunday.

According to a Nagaland Health Department bulletin Sunday, among the 68 fresh COVID cases Sunday, the new cases were detected from seven districts with 22 cases in Mokokchung, 20 cases in Kohima, 18 in Dimapur, four in Kiphire, two in Mon, one in Longleng and one in Phek.

There were 86 recoveries reported on Sunday with 25 recoveries from Kohima, 23 recovered from Dimapur, 19 in Peren, nine from Mokokchung, six from Phek and four from Kiphire, as of July 4, taking the recovery tally to 23,077.

As of Sunday, the number of active cases in the State was at 1,234 with 77 patients currently admitted to the COVID Hospitals and 1,073 under home isolation. No COVID-19 related deaths were reported in the last 24 hours and the death toll in the state remained at 499, the bulletin said.
