Kohima: In the latest COVID-19 situation in Nagaland yesterday increased to 63 new cases, which increased the total number of coronavirus infected cases rose to 29, 841 and with two more deaths, the toll rose to 614.
According to a Nagaland Health Department bulletin today, among the 63 fresh COVID cases yesterday, the new cases were detected from nine districts of Nagaland with 24 cases in Dimapur, 14 cases in Kohima, 10 in Mokokchung, five in Longleng, three in Phek, three in Zunheboto, two in Kiphire, one in Mon and one in Peren, taking the total caseload to 29841.
On the recovery of COVID-19 patients in the State, a total 78 new recoveries were reported throughout the state, 33 from Kohima, 23 from Dimapur, 14 from Mokokchung, six from Zunheboto and two from Peren, the total recovery in the state rose to 27,535, with a recovery rate of 92.27%.
Nagaland yesterday had 818 active patients, out of which 643 active cases are asymptomatic, 134 are mild symptomatic, 15 are moderate on oxygen, nine are severe on oxygen, nine are in ICU without ventilator and seven patients are admitted in ICUs on ventilators, the bulletin said. With two more deaths reported from Dimapur, the death toll rose to 612, the bulletin informed.
