Kohima: Nagaland reported five new COVID cases on Saturday, taking the number of new cases to 16 in the last one week between December 4 to 10, which increased the total number of corona infections in the state to 32,151 so far and with two more related deaths, the death toll moved up to 699.
According to a Nagaland Health Department bulletin on Sunday, there are new five fresh COVID cases reported on Saturday in two districts with three cases in Dimapur and two cases in Kohima. The sample positivity rate remained at 0.4 per cent. Nine patients recovered from the disease on Saturday, four in Dimapur, three in Kiphire, one in Kohima and one in Mokokchung, taking the total number of recoveries to 30,284 with the recovery rate of 94.09 per cent.
Nagaland currently has 101 active cases, 84 are asymptomatic, 14 mild, one severe on oxygen and two in ICU on a ventilator.
