Kohima: Nagaland recorded 304 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, pushing the total number of COVID- 19 cases in the state to 17,834.
Nagaland Health Minister Pangnyu Phom said Saturday that among the fresh 304 cases, the highest 148 were registered in Dimapur, followed by 121 in Kohima, 11 in Mokokchung, 10 in Tuensang, four in Mon, three in Phek, three in Wokha, two in Zunheboto, one in Longleng and one in Kiphire.
A total of 53 more patients recovered Saturday, which comprises 33 in Dimapur, nine in Mon, eight in Mokokchung, one in Kohima, one in Peren and one in Phek, Phom said.
The total number of active cases now stood at 3985, and 13087 people have recovered, while COVID related death rose to 185.
