Nagaland records 132 new COVID positive cases

The new cases were detected from all eight districts of Nagaland with 72 cases in Kohima, 26 cases in Mokokchung, 18 in Dimapur, seven in Kiphire, four in Tuensang, two in Longleng, two in Peren and one in Wokha.

Kohima: The new cases of COVID-19 in Nagaland yesterday came down to 132 new cases, which increased the total number of COVID- 19 cases with this total of 26,381 patients so far as of yesterday.

According to a Nagaland Health Department bulletin Friday, among the 132 fresh COVID cases yesterday, the new cases were detected from all eight districts of Nagaland with 72 cases in Kohima, 26 cases in Mokokchung, 18 in Dimapur, seven in Kiphire, four in Tuensang, two in Longleng, two in Peren and one in Wokha.

Altogether 49 COVID-19 infected patients in the state and the total recovery stand at 23,987 so far. As a result, Nagaland has total active cases of 1,017. With no COVID related death in the state, the death toll remained unchanged at 517, the bulletin said.
