Kohima: New COVID-19 cases in Nagaland further came down yesterday with 101 new cases, as the total number of cases in the state stood at 23,854.
According to a Nagaland Health Department data Wednesday, among the 101 fresh COVID cases yesterday, there were 31 cases in Dimapur, 25 cases in Kohima, 12 in Mokokchung, 10 in Tuensang, seven in Longleng, six in Mon, six in Zunheboto, two in Kiphire, one in Peren and one in Wokha, taking the total cases to 23,854.
According to the recovery reports, there were 322 recoveries of COVID-19 positive patients in Nagaland with a big figure of 205 patients from Dimapur, 57 from Kohima, 17 from Wokha, 15 from Tuensang, 10 from Mokokchung, 10 from Phek and eight from Longleng. The total recoveries rose to 19,753
The total active cases in state are 2,972, of them 2736 are asymptotic, 135 are mild symptomatic, 50 were moderate with oxygen, 23 are severe with oxygen, 19 are in ICU without ventilation and 9 are in ICU with ventilators. For the COVID related deaths three more persons succumbed to the infection, two in Dimapur and one in Wokha, taking the death toll to 459, including 14 non-COVID deaths but with COVID positivity.
