Musharraf going through difficult stage, recovery not possible, says family

Islamabad: The family of former Pakistan President Pervaiz Musharraf on Friday said that he was going through a ‘difficult stage,’ where recovery was ‘not possible’.

Taking to the official Twitter handle of the former President, his family said, “He is not on the ventilator. Has been hospitalized for the last 3 weeks due to a complication of his ailment (Amyloidosis).

“Going through a difficult stage where recovery is not possible and organs are malfunctioning. Pray for ease in his daily living,” the family said.

The statement by Musharraf’s family came amid rumours of the death of former Pakistan President.
