Aizawl: To help the Village Level task Force in smooth implementation of COVID protocols, necessary assistance in terms of tentages and manpower was extended by the Aizawl Battalion under the aegis of 23 Sector Assam Rifles/ Inspector General Assam Rifles (East).
The initiative was taken by Assam Rifles with an aim to provide with essential assistance in terms of tentages, manpower and other infrastructural help for enabling them in carrying out their assigned task with utmost dedication and without any administrative hassles, said a statement by the Assam Rifles here on Tuesday.
These individuals who are striving hard to put an end to the spread of COVID pandemic in the state were provided with required help from Aizawl Battalion in terms of basic amenities and manpower support, said the statement.
This drive of assisting the VLTFs was organized with the hope that these small initiatives will not only bring relatively bigger changes in the lives of these individuals but also instill positivity in their minds which will subsequently lead them to carry out their duty in a hassle-free environment and with a happy and relaxed mindset, it added.
