Imphal: As part of philanthropic activity to tackle the Covid-19
pandemic in Yaiskul AC, mass vaccination drive was held on Tuesday at two locations: Yumnam Leikai Ground by IBSA Club and at Brahmapur Nahabam Leikai Basketball Ground by Dharmalaya Social Welfare Centre under the initiative of Yaiskul MLA and Labour Minister Thokchom Satyabrata Singh.
Earlier about 6,045 persons belonging to Yaiskul AC were vaccinated at Primary Health Centre (PHC) Sangaipat starting from 17 February 2021. Altogether 118 people undertook vaccination at Bokul Makhong while the figures at Samashakhi School, Brahmapur Social Club, Mange Makhong and Youth Club Brahmapur (YCB) Aribam Leikai stood at 219,178 and 130 respectively.
A total of 230 persons got vaccinated at Lairembi Lampak Yumnam Leikai that was organised by IBSA Club and about 200 persons were vaccinated at Brahmapur Nahabam Leikai Basketball Ground under the aegis of the Dharmalaya Social Welfare Centre.
Deputy Commissioner Imphal East Khumanthem Diana was also present at Brahmapur Nahabam Leikai vaccination centre.
Both these mass vaccination camps were organised Tuesday as part of the social welfare activity and health care initiative of Minister Thokchom Satyabrata for the public of his Yaiskul AC.
