Many including DY CM, Edu Minister, file nomination papers in Imphal West

The sitting MLA filed three nomination with each nomination supported by a proposer at the office of the RO 19-Patsoi AC Samson Huidrom.

Imphal: With just one day left before filing of nominations ends for the first phase of Manipur Legislative Assembly election, many candidates Monday filed their nominations in Imphal West district. 

From 10-Uripok AC, sitting MLA and Deputy Chief Minister Yumnam Joykumar Singh of the NPP filed his nomination paper supported by one proposer at the office of the RO Nimmi Azingwungshi Khamrang. BJP candidate Khwairakpam Raghumani Singh also filed his nomination supported by one proposer.

INC candidate Nunglepam Mahananda Singh filed two nomination papers supported by one proposer each. JD(U) candidate Shri Khombongmayum Suresh Singh also filed his nomination paper supported by two proposers.

From 17-Lamsang AC, Education, Fisheries and CADA minister and BJP sitting MLA Sorokhaibam Rajen Singh filed three nomination papers supported by one proposer each. Pukhrambam Sumati Devi of the National People’s Party also filed three nomination papers supported by one proposer each. Independent candidate Arambam Karamjit Singh filed his nomination from the constituency supported by 10 proposers. Janata Dal (United) candidate Dr. Khundrakpam Kanba Meitei also filed a nomination paper supported by 10 proposers.

Janata Dal (United) candidate Dr. Khwairakpam Loken Singh filed his nomination paper today from 11-Sagolband Assembly Constituency, supported by 10 proposers, at the office of the Returning Officer, Dr.Md.Imran Khan.

From 9-Thangmeiband Assembly Constituency, two candidates filed their nominations before the concerned RO Dr.Md. Imran Khan. Jotin Waikhom of the BJP filed two nominations supported by one proposer each and INC candidate Hijam Nutachandra Singh filed his nomination with the support of one proposer.

BJP sitting MLA Dr. Sapam Ranjan Singh filed three nominations from 18-Konthoujam Assembly Constituency supported by one proposers each, at the office of the RO, 18-Konthoujam AC Samson Huidrom.

From 19-Patsoi Assembly Constituency three candidates including sitting Congress MLA Akoijam Mirabai Devi filed their nominations. The sitting MLA filed three nomination with each nomination supported by a proposer at the office of the RO 19-Patsoi AC Samson Huidrom. BJP Candidate Sapam Kunjakeswor Singh filed two nominations from the constituency with one proposer supporting both nomination papers. RK Rameshwar Singh of the NPP also filed three nomination papers at the office of the RO.

22-Wangoi AC sitting MLA Oinam Lukhoi Singh of the BJP also filed his nomination papers today. Shri Lukhoi filed two nomination papers supported by one proposer each at the office of the Returning Officer. Salam Joy Singh of the Indian National Congress also filed his nomination supported by one proposer.

From 23-Mayang Imphal Assembly Constituency, sitting MLA and BJP candidate Shri Kongkham Robindro Singh, who had filed his nominations earlier filed his nomination again today. He filed two nominations supported by a proposer each at the office of the RO 23-Mayang Imphal AC.

INC Candidate Dr. Khumujam Ratankumar Singh also filed two nominations supported by a proposer each, today. NPP candidate Urikhimbam Ramesh Singh also filed two nominations before the RO today, supported by a proposer each.

NPP candidate Soibam Subhaschandra Singh filed his nomination papers from 21-Naoriya Pakhanglakpa AC today. He filed two nomination papers supported by one proposer each at the office of the RO Scindia Laipubam. INC candidate Soraisham Manaoton Singh also filed his nominations. He filed three nominations supported by a proposer each. JD(U) candidate Konthoujam Manoranjan Singh also filed three nominations supported by 10 proposers each.

Former Minister Karam Shyam of the BJP who has already filed his nomination from 20-Langthabal Assembly Constituency, filed a nomination from the same constituency again today. His nomination, supported by one proposers, was filed at the office of the RO Scindia Laipubam. Independent candidate Pukhrambam Somojit Singh also filed his nomination with the support of 10 proposers today. NPP candidate Shri Karam Nabakishor Singh also filed two nomination papers supported by one proposer each.

INC candidate Okram Joy Singh filed three nominations supported by one proposer each from 20-Langthabal AC. Independent candidate Hijam Somarendro Singh also filed two nominations supported by 10 proposers each.

BJP sitting MLA Heikham Dingo Singh filed his nomination from 16-Sekmai (SC) AC at the office of the Returning Officer Salam Padmapati. His nomination paper was supported by one proposer. Independent candidate Maharabam Anita Devi also filed her nomination supported by 10 proposers. Indian National Congress candidate Ningthoujam Biren Singh also filed his nomination supported by one proposer. Shiv Sena candidate Khaidem Ranjit Singh also filed his nomination supported by 10 proposers.

NPP candidate and sitting MLA Langpoklakpam Jayanta Kumar Singh filed his nomination from 12-Keishamthong AC. INC candidate Aribam Pramodini Devi, BJP candidate Elangbam Samuel Johnson and RPI (A) candidate Maheshwar Thounaojam also filed their nominations from 12-Keishamthong AC. From 13-Singjamei AC NPP candidate Oinam Romen Singh and JD(U) candidate Ngangbam Robert filed their nominations.

Altogether four candidates from 10-Uripok AC, one from 11-Sagolband AC, four from 17-Lamsang AC, two from 9-Thangmeiband AC, one from 18-Konthoujam AC, three from 19-Patsoi AC, two from 22-Wangoi AC, three from 23-Mayang Imphal AC, three from 21-Naoriya Pakhanglakpa AC, three from 20-Langthabal AC, two from 20-Langthabal AC, four from 16-Sekmai (SC) AC, two from 13-Singjamei AC and four from 12-Keishamthong AC filed their nominations today.
