Imphal: In the last 24 hours leading up to 5 pm of Sunday, four persons tested positive and 11 persons were discharged in Manipur. During the same period, there was no report of any Covid-related death in the state, as per an official release from the Health Department.
Of the four persons who tested positive, two are from Chandel and one each from Churachandpur and Imphal East. Altogether 278 persons were tested amounting to a positivity rate of 1.4 %.
The cumulative number of positive cases in the state now stands at 1, 39, 759 of which 1, 37,591 have recovered leaving 20 active cases in the state.
As on September10, 2022, 53 D-type oxygen cylinders and 13 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available at different health facilities in Manipur.
The status of Covid Hospital facilities in the state as on September `11, 2022 is as follows: JNIMS has a total of 38 beds out of which two are occupied and 36 are vacant. RIMS has a total of 62 beds out of which none are occupied leaving all 62 vacant.
The total number of doses administered on September 10, is 343, the cumulative number of doses administered is 32,04,518(1st dose 16,37,126, 2nd dose 13,35,538) and precautionary dose is 2,53,854.
