New Delhi: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday conducted searches at various locations in five states including Delhi in connection with suspected terror gangs link to the killing of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, sources said.
The NIA raids were underway in Delhiās Jharoda Kalan, Alipur areas, and other locations linked to gangsters including Lawrence Bishnoi, Kala Jathedi, Tillu Tajpuria, and Neeraj Bawania.
The NIA raids were also underway in Haryana, Punjab, and Rajasthan among other states.
Recently, the Delhi Police Special Cell investigating the Moosewala case arrested three sharpshooters of the Lawrence Bishnoi-Goldy Barar (Canada-based gangster) gang.
It was also learned that these three accused were using certain apps to remain in direct contact with Kuldeep alias Kashish and Priyavart alias Fauzi, presently lodged in jail in the Punjabi rapper’s murder, the Police statement stated.
During the investigation, it was revealed that they were also in regular contact with Goldy Brar who allegedly had provided logistic support, hideouts, and arms for the May 29 murder.
