Har Ghar Tiranga cycle rally held in Kakching

Kakching: The nationwide Har Ghar Tiranga 2026 campaign is celebrated with great patriotic zeal ahead of Independence Day in Kakching District.

As part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, the District Administration Kakching today organised a Cycle Rally to promote the spirit of patriotism, national unity and respect for the National Flag.

Deputy Commissioner Angeline Renita R (IAS)  along with Superintendent of Police, Priyadarshini Laishram (IPS) flagged off the cycle rally in presence of Additional District Magistrate Shri Ph. Bhavananda Sharma (MCS).

Students from various schools across Kakching district enthusiastically participated in the rally, which commenced from the DC Office Complex and proceeded along NH-137A towards Kakching Lamkhai before returning to the starting point along the same route.

Meanwhile, events related to the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign are held at various schools and institutions daily, where students are showcasing their creative skills and talents under the supervision of the teachers and school authorities.

In one such programme, a Tiranga Rangoli making event was organised at the DC Office Complex organised by the District Administration Kakching, in collaboration with the District Child Protection Unit (DCPU). Children from Child Care Institutions (CCIs) in Kakching created colourful rangoli designs.

Tiranga-themed arts and crafts activities and rangoli making were also organised at various schools in the district, where children showcased their artistic skills and talents. A poster-making and drawing competition on the theme of freedom fighters was also held as part of the campaign.

Competitions and activities are being organised to inspire patriotism among students and encourage them to become responsible citizens of the country. Their enthusiastic involvement embodies national pride, unity and the core values of “Nation First” from a young age.
