Imphal: In the last 24 hours leading up to 5 pm of Sunday, Manipur witnessed a double-figure positive figure of 16 cases from the general population.
During the same period, there was no report of any Covid-related deaths while four persons recovered, as per an official release from the Health Department.
Of the 16 persons who tested positive, nine of them are from Imphal West, six from Imphal East, and one from Chandel. Altogether, 126 persons were tested, amounting to a positivity rate of 12.7 %.
All the four persons who recovered are from home isolation. The recovery rate of the state now stands at 98.42 %.
The cumulative number of positive cases in the state now stands at 1, 37, 297 out of which 1, 35, 134 have recovered leaving 43 active cases in the state.
The total number of doses administered on July 2, is 1,030, the cumulative number of doses administered is 29,65,552 (1st dose 15,93,555, 2nd dose 12,59,565) and precautionary dose is 1,12,562.
