Manipur: Recruitment to 570 posts under six ADCs cancelled

Imphal: The state government has canceled the direct recruitment to 750 vacant posts under six ADCs of Chandel, Senapati, Churachandpur, Kangpokpi, Tamenglong and Ukhrul until further orders.

This was informed by the Under Secretary (Tribal Affairs & Hills) Government of Manipur to the Chief Executive Officers of the six ADCs in letters dated October 23, 2021.

It may be mentioned that many hill-based student bodies and civil society organizations have been pressing for the cancellation of the recruitment process in the ADCs.
