Imphal: In the last 24 hours leading up to 2 pm of Friday, Manipur reported 1 Covid related, 210 new positive cases and 261 recoveries, as per an official release from the Covid-19 Common Control Room.
The lone person who succumbed to the deadly virus was from Imphal East. With this, the cumulative death toll in the state now stands at 1807.
 The 210 persons (102 males, 108 females) from the general population who tested positive include 80 from Imphal West, 57 from Imphal East, 32 from Churachandpur, 14 from Ukhrul, 11 from Bishnupur, 7 from Thoubal, 2 each from Chandel and Kakching and 1 each from Kamjong and Senapati.
Altogether 3,300 samples were tested amounting to a further improved positivity rate of 6.8 % on Friday.
Of the 261 persons who were discharged, 100 were from home isolation, 100 from CCCs, 45 from CHICs, 11 from RIMS and 5 from JNIMS. The recovery rate in the state now stands at 96.08 %.
The cumulative number of positive cases is 1,16,607 (General Population – 1, 12,440, Central Security Personnel 4,167). The cumulative number of recovered cases is 1, 12,031 (General Population – 1, 07,910, Central Security Personnel – 4,121). The number of active cases is 2,769 (General Population – 2,728, Personnel – 41).
The total number of doses administered on September 9, 2021, is 3,272and the cumulative number of doses administered is 15,84,886 (1st dose 11,98,915, 2nd dose 3,85,971)
The total number of beds available in various hospitals for Covid-19 patients on September 10 is 550 out of which 450 are general beds while 100 are ICU beds.
The total number of beds available in Covid Care Centers in the state on September 10 is 3467 out of which 706 are occupied and 2761 are vacant.
