Imphal: Manipur on Saturday logged as many as 730 new COVID19 infections pushing the total number of cases to 39052, the state health bulletin said. Also with 10 people succumbing to the deadly virus the death toll touched 562. Currently the active cases stand at 6215.
At least ten persons aged 67 years (male, Kakching), 61 years (male, Imphal West). 49 years (male, Churachandpur). 61 years (male, Imphal West), 81 years (female, Imphal East), 80 years (male, Imphal East), 75 years (male, Imphal West), 52 years (female, Imphal West), 75 years (male, imphal West), and 67 years (male, Imphal West) expired at Shija Hospital (1), DH Churachandpur (2), JNIMS (3) and RIMS (4) hospital respectively.

Ukhrul (8), Churachandpur (28), Chandel (5), Senapati (2), Tamenglong (39). Kangpokpi (15) and Jiribam (8). All necessary medical precautionary measures like containment and contact tracing are in place.
The total number of discharged persons is 403. They are from CAPF (4), Home Isolation (319), RIMS (2), DIMS (I), RD Wing (7), BB (18), NSU (12), RAJMED (10), SHRI (II), Bishnupur (2), Kakching (6), Tamenglong (3) and Ukhrul (8).
The cumulative number of recovered cases is 32.275 (General Population – 28,762 and Central Security Personnel – 3.513). The recovery rate is 82.64 %.
A total of 1393 D- type Oxygen Cylinders and 474 11-type Oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health institutions and health facilities of Manipur.
