Imphal: Manipur reported five new positive cases, nil Covid-related deaths, and three recoveries in the last 24 hours leading up to 5 pm of Saturday, as per an official release from the Health Department.
Of the five new positives cases, two of them are from Imphal West and one each from Bishnupur, Imphal East, and Kangpokpi. Altogether 311 persons were tested amounting to a positivity rate of 1.6 %.
All the three persons who recovered were from home isolation. The recovery rate in the state now stands at 98.44 %.
The cumulative number of positive cases in the state now stands at 1, 37, 210 of which 1, 35, 063 have recovered leaving 27 active cases.
The total number of doses administered on April 22, is 3,039, the cumulative number of doses administered is 28,26,888 (1st dose 15,53, 373, 2nd dose 11,97,578), and precautionary dose 75,937.
