Manipur logs 37 positive cases, 78 recoveries Sunday

Altogether, 508 persons were tested amounting to a positivity rate of 7.3 %.

Imphal: Manipur reported 37 positive cases, no Covid-related death and78 recoveries  in the last 24 hours leading up to 5 pm of Sunday, as per an official release from the Health Department. 

Of the 37 persons who tested positive, 11 are from Imphal West, eight from Imphal East, five from Churachandpur, four from Bishnupur, two each from Kangpokpi,  Senapati and Pherzawl and one each from Thoubal, Chandel and Thoubal. Altogether, 508 persons were tested amounting to a positivity rate of 7.3 %.

Meanwhile, 78 persons recovered, 52 from home isolation, 11 from RIMS and two from SHRI and 20 discharges.. The recovery rate of the state as of Friday stands at 98.05 %.

The cumulative number of positive cases in the state now stands at 1, 39, 074 out of which 1, 36,404 have recovered leaving 541 active cases in the state.

As on July 30 , 2022, 316 D-type oxygen cylinders and 13 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available at different health facilities in Manipur.

The status of Covid Hospital facilities in the state as on July 31 , 2022 are as follows: JNIMS has a total of 38 beds out of which 23 are occupied and 15 are vacant. RIMS has a total of 62 beds out of which 30 are occupied and 32 are vacant. 

 The total number of doses administered on July 30 is 3,060, the cumulative number of doses administered is 31,05,353 (1st dose 16,14,496, 2nd dose 12,86,823) and precautionary dose is 2,04,028 .
