Imphal: Manipur recorded just two positive cases while five persons recovered in the last 24 hours leading up to 5 pm of Saturday. During the same period, there was no report of any Covid-related death in the State, as per an official release from the Health Department.
Both the persons who tested positive are from Imphal West. Altogether, 341 persons were tested amounting to a positivity rate of.6 %.
Meanwhile, five persons recovered from home isolation. The recovery rate of the state as of Saturday stands at 98.40 %.
The cumulative number of positive cases in the state now stands at 1, 39, 673 of which 1, 37,444 have recovered leaving 83 active cases in the state.
As on August 26, 2022, 134 D-type oxygen cylinders and 24 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available at different health facilities in Manipur.
The status of Covid Hospital facilities in the state as on August 27, 2022 is as follows: JNIMS has a total of 38 beds out of which eight are occupied and 30 are vacant. RIMS has a total of 62 beds out of which five are occupied and 57 are vacant.
The total number of doses administered on August 26, is 2,834 the cumulative number of doses administered is 31,69,783 1st dose 16,27,883, 2nd dose 13,01,663) and precautionary dose is 2,40,230.
