Imphal: Health and IPR Minister Dr. Sapam Ranjan Singh visited Integrated Ayush Hospital, Keirao in Imphal East Wednesday.
The Minister was accompanied by MLA, Keirao Assembly Constituency, L. Rameshwor Singh, Director Ayush, Dr. A. Guneshwor Sharma, officials of Ayush Department, Engineers of MANIDCO and others.
During the visit the ministerial team inspected the progress of the construction of the State Homeopathy Medical College and State Homeopathy Manufacturing Unit. The Minister also inspected the Drug Testing Laboratory which is under construction.
A meeting was also held with the concerned officials of Ayush department which was also attended by the staff of the engineering department after the infrastructures of the present Integrated Ayush Hospital, Keirao was reviewed.
Dr. S. Ranjan urged the concerned officials and contractors for early completion of the uncompleted structures in the public interest. He said that the department will approach for the required funds for the completion of the structures. He also stated that such visits will continue for other districts and subdivisions where there are health facilities.
