Imphal: The government of Manipur has announced a cash reward of Rs five lakhs to anyone for information leading to the identification of miscreants involved in three FIR cases.
The first case was relating to some unknown miscreants burnt down one Maruti Suzuki Eco-Van which was coming from Churachandpur towards Imphal side at Phougakchao Ikhai Awang Liekai area along Tiddim road NH-2, Bishnupur District resulting in total damage of the vehicle on August 6, 2022, at about 2.40 pm.
Another FIR was filed by a complainant whose Swift vehicle bearing Regd,No.MNO1- A5/9896 was stopped by some unknown miscreants while he was returning back from Geljang Resort at Kaprang Village area along Tiddim Road, Churachandpur District and burnt down the vehicle on August 6, 2022, at about 5:00 pm;
The FIR was relating to some 4/5 unknown miscreants stopping one Tata 407 truck bearing Regn. No AS 27C-676 loaded with an empty water tank (Sintex) at Vajing village area on Tiddim Road and set it on fire on August 7, 2022 at about 3:00 pm.
Details of the informer shall be kept secret, said an order issued by the Special Secretary (Home), Gyan Prakash on Tuesday.
