Imphal: The Manipur government Monday announced the names of officers and personnel who will be awarded by the Chief Minister for outstanding Devotion of Duty and Home Minister’s award for excellence in police training in 2018-2019.
B Lunthang Vaiphei, Inspector, OC (CDO), Bishnupur (now OC Wangoi PS/IW) will be awarded 4th BAR to PMG. Md Samadur Rahaman, Havildar No. 785126/2nd IRB attached with CDO/Bishnupur will be given Police Medal for Gallantry (PMG).
K Priyojit Singh, Jem J.C. No. 803, MPTC, Th Digbijoy Singh, Rfn No. 062006472, MPTC, W Surjit Singh, Rfn No. 132001176, MPTC and Kh Tomba Singh, Rfn No. 112005796 would be awarded Union Home Minister’s Medal for Excellence in Police Training, 2018-219.
The medals will be distributed on the occasion of Independence Day, 2021, said a statement issued by Khuplen Lheuvumi, MPS, Public Relation Officer, Police Department.
