Churachandpur: The District Administration, Churachandpur, organised a one-day fishery awareness and certificate distribution programme through the District Fishery Office at Sagang Khunou today as part of the ongoing Seva Sankalp Abhiyan 2026. Fish Farmer Certificates were distributed to 63 fish farmers during the programme.
Around 80 fish farmers, members of the general public and staff of the District Fishery Office attended the programme, which was conducted under the supervision of Md Ziaur Rahaman, District Fishery Officer, Churachandpur.
The awareness session covered the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY) and insurance schemes for fish farmers. Participants were informed about the benefits and opportunities available under these schemes.
