Manipur Governor, CM lead the state in extending warm wishes on Eid

Imphal: Governor of Manipur, La Ganesan led the dignitaries of the state in extending warm greetings to the people, “especially our Muslim brethren on the auspicious and joyous occasion of ‘Id-ul-Fitr’.

“Proceeded by “Ramdan” a month long fasting period, this holy festival not only spreads the message of peace, brotherhood and universal love but also entreats mankind to perform deeds of positive value to enhance our souls.  The message associated with this festival is most relevant in this present tumultuous world”, Governor Ganesan added.

He called on all to strengthen the feeling of oneness and forgive and forget ill feelings against one another. Stating that the whole world is a single family, Governor Ganesan made a strong appeal to settle all stive through peaceful means.

He called on all to work together to preserve and propagate the message of peace, friendship and love on this auspicious occasion.

Chief Minister N Biren Singh in his message said that Eid-ul-Fitr marks the holy month of Ramadanand beginning of Shawwal the tenth month of Islamic Calendar. The festival reaffirms the abiding faith in the spirit of compassion and charity, CM Biren added in his message.

“May the noble ideals that mark Eid-ul-Fitr  enrich our lives ith peace, prosperity and the spirit of humanity”, CM Biren prayed.

Speaker of Manipur Legislative Assembly, Th Satyabrata in his Eid-ul-Fitr message sought “the blessings of Allah to help and guide us in every important tasks of our lives” “ Let us once again inculcate the virtues of kindness, patience, humanity and communal harmony”, he added.

Power Minister, Th Biswajit also extended warm greetings to the people of Manipur on the Holy festival of Eid-ul-Fitr. “The Festival provides a chance to further the spirit of peace and brotherhood in our societyMay this Eid also bring God’s endless blessings to the State and our people”, Th Biswajit added in his message on the occasion.
