Imphal: The Government of Manipur strongly condemned the killing of two Assam Rifles personnel in an ambush by militants near Nungshangkong in Ukhrul district under the jurisdiction of Ukhrul Police Station
Chief Minister of Manipur Yumnam Khemchand Singh conveyed his deepest condolences to the bereaved families of the two Assam Rifles personnel and strongly condemned the cowardly act. He maintained that the Government will not tolerate such acts of violence and will not remain a mute spectator to these atrocities. Culprits responsible will be arrested soon.
