Manipur: BOSEM Class X results declared; 100% students pass

Rajen informed that the total number of candidates whose assessment report has been received from different Schools (private and govt) by BOSEM is 47,208. All the registered candidates passed. 100% passed percentage is registered in this year’s HSLC Exam.

Imphal: Education Minister Sorokhaibam Rajen Singh has declared the Board Of Secondary Education Manipur (BOSEM) Exam, 2021 Saturday.

Declaring the result of this year’s BOSEM exam, Rajen informed that the total number of candidates whose assessment report has been received from different Schools (private and govt) by BOSEM is 47,208.  All the registered candidates passed. 100% passed percentage is registered in this year’s HSLC Exam.

Declaring the result at the Conference Hall of the Board Of Secondary Education Manipur (BOSEM), Rajen Singh said that the declaration of the HSLC Exam 2021 is delayed due to this pandemic of COVID-19. On the other hand after the postponement of the exam it had been notified as cancelled.

The Minister said that the marking modalities were framed after minute discussion and consultation with the resource persons and education experts. Committees and sub-committees were also constituted for assessment of mark. If any student or guardian is not satisfied with the marking assessment system, they can apply for appearing the exam physically afresh, the Minister added. 

He maintained that education is the backbone of society. To educate our children is as important as building a good nation. The role of the teachers and education officials is highly challenging. Teachers should work sincerely and with dedication, he informed.

It may be mentioned that no ranking is announced this year. Result is prepared on the basis of 20 marks from class X internal assessment conducted by concerned schools, 30 Marks from Class IX exam and 50 from Class X term exams. Result can be seen at www.manresults.nic.in or www.bosem.in.

 Chairman, BOSEM, A. Joykumar Singh, Commissioner, Hr. and Tech. Education, M. Harekrishna, IAS, Director Education (S) L. Nandakumar, IAS, Secretary BOSEM, Dr. S. Mangijao Singh attended the ceremony as president and guests of honour respectively. Contoller of Examination, officials and staff of BOSEM were also present during the occasion.
