Imphal: BJP Manipur on Wednesday demanded repoll in 23 polling stations alleging bogus voting, violence during February 28 elections.

The memorandum submitted by BJP Manipur Pradesh State Election Management Committee Convenor, K Bhabananda said the poll process was not done in a free and fair manner at Saikul and Saitu constituencies.

He alleged that INC candidate and associates destroyed the EVM creating a riot like situation at Saitu.

It was also alleged that there were instances of booth capturing and bogus voting by NSCN (IM) at Saikul and voters were not allowed to cast their vote with the assailants casting bogus votes.
