Manipur Assembly unanimously passes demands for grants amounting to Rs 375,996,72,000

 The House also passed the Manipur Appropriation (No. 3) Bill, 2022 (Bill No. 11 of 2022) and The Manipur Appropriation (No. 5) Bill, 2022 (Bill No. 13 of 2022).

Imphal: On the 3rd day of the ongoing second session of the 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly Wednesday, the House unanimously passed demands for grants amounting to Rs. 3759,96,72,000.

The demands for grants are State Legislature is Rs. 218,40,23,000, Council of Ministers is Rs. 15,68,46,000, Secretariat Rs.170,62,45,000, Municipal Administration Housing and Urban Development-Rs.777,56,53,000, Textiles, Commerce and Industries Rs. 211,01,10,000, Public Health Engineering-Rs.2338,20,06,000 and Election-Rs.28,47,89,000, 

 The House also passed the Manipur Appropriation (No. 3) Bill, 2022 (Bill No. 11 of 2022) and The Manipur Appropriation (No. 5) Bill, 2022 (Bill No. 13 of 2022).

 The house also proceeded to elect seven members each for the Election of the three Financial committees: Committee on Public Accounts, Committee on Estimates and Committee on Public undertaking.

Policy cut motion for disapproval was moved on Demand No.12-Municipal Administration, Housing and Urban Development by MLA K. Meghachandra Singh while Demand No.21-Textiles, Commerce & Industries and Demand No.22-Public Health Engineering by MLA Th. Lokeshwar Singh and MLA K. Meghachandra Singh. Kakching AC MLA M. Rameshwar Singh, Keishamthong AC MLA Nishikant Sapam, Ukhrul AC MLA Ram Muivah also participated in the discussion.
