Gangtok: Chief Minister PS Tamang has conveyed warm greetings and best wishes to the people of Sikkim on the auspicious occasion of ‘Ramnavami” (Chaite Dasain).
In his message the Chief Minister states ‘On this happy and auspicious occasion of Ramnavami let us follow and try to imbibe the teachings of Lord Ram, of fulfilling our duties without any selfish motives, putting other people before ourselves and take a pledge to let truth, purity, honesty, humility and righteousness be the guiding factors in our lives.
The life of Lord Ram is a model for all mankind. May the Lord bless us all with virtues like self-control, truth and modesty.’
The Chief Minister urges people to strictly follow the guidelines set by the government to combat the second wave of the pandemic and also wishes the people of Sikkim good health, contentment and forbearance to deal with any adversity.
