Moscow: Moscow is disappointed that EU and US leaders did not say anything about the cluster bomb attack on Donetsk by Ukraine’s military and the deaths of civilians, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday.
The city came under fire on Monday, with a Ukrainian Tochka-U missile filled with cluster munitions shot down near the government house in the center of Donetsk. The attack resulted in the deaths of 20 people, while 37 others were injured.
“I want to draw your attention and say that in fact we are very, very disappointed that neither the European leaders, nor my counterpart, [White House Press Secretary Jen] Psaki, nor … US President [Joe] Biden, nor the leaders of international organisations, nor the leadership of NATO — nor yesterday neither today — said anything about Donetsk. And nothing was said about those innocent civilians who died from a rocket fired by the armed forces of Ukraine. And they did not talk about the horrors that are happening in Donetsk, and they did not condemn anyone,” Peskov told reporters.Â
