Karnataka reports 1,501 COVID-19 cases, 32 deaths

The sources said that as many as 2039 covid-19 patients got discharged on Monday, after being completely recovered from the disease, and there are 22,487 active cases across the state.

Bengaluru: Karnataka reported 1,501 fresh cases of the COVID-19 in the last 24-hours, taking the total number of people infected from the disease to 28,97,664 on Monday.

According to official sources, as many as 32 persons had succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours taking the total number of fatalities to 36,437.

The sources said that as many as 2039 covid-19 patients got discharged on Monday, after being completely recovered from the disease, and there are 22,487 active cases across the state.

In the last 24-hours as many as 102494 persons had undergone for the COVID-19 tests and the positivity rate of the COVID-19 stood at 1.46 per cent and the case fatality rate accounted for 2.13 per cent, the sources
