Kakching district administration holds second Seva Setu Abhiyan camp

Kakching: The District Administration Kakching organised the second Seva Setu Abhiyan camp at the Waikhong Ningthoumanai Lairembi Shanglen, Kakching district today as part of the ongoing Seva Sankalp Abhiyan 2026.

A total of 13 departments participated in the programme, benefiting 312 beneficiaries through enrolment, verification, documentation and application facilities for various Government welfare schemes.

Manipur State Power Distribution Company Limited (MSPDCL) facilitated applications for PM Surya Ghar; the Fisheries Department provided assistance for Kisan Credit Card (KCC), loans and farmer registration. The Medical Department provided health screening, free consultations and medicines, along with other healthcare services.

BDO Langmeidong provided assistance for Birth and Death certificates, Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana – Gramin (PMAY-G) and Viksit Bharat–Guarantee for Rozgar & Ajeevika Mission (VB-G RAM G). Horticulture and Soil Conservation Department facilitated applications under the Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture (MIDH) and Pradhan Mantri – Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana (PM-RKVY).

District Social Welfare Office assisted beneficiaries with the Manipur Old Age Pension Scheme (MOAPS), Chief Minister Widow Pension Scheme (CMWPS), Ima Nongthangleima Yaipha Tengbang Scheme, Chief Ministergi Shotharabasingi Tengbang, as well as schemes for persons with disabilities and scholarships.

Handloom and Textiles Department facilitated applications for Weavers’ Cards and issued Manipur Yarn Passbooks, while the Manipur State Rural Livelihoods Mission (MSRLM) distributed pamphlets highlighting various schemes available under it.

CAF & PD Department assisted beneficiaries in applying for new ration cards and in making modifications and transfers of existing ration cards. Zonal Education Office, Kakching and other participating departments also provided services and assistance under their respective schemes.

As part of the programme, Manipur Old Age Pension Scheme cards, bee boxes and organic pesticides were distributed to beneficiaries.

The distribution programme was attended by ADM Elangbam Anand Singh (MCS), SDO Waikhong, other officials, local leaders & representatives, among others.
