New Delhi: Trinamool Congress Santanu Sen on Thursday said that Jammu and Kashmir and Arunachal Pradesh were shown separately coloured in a WHO website he surfed for Covid related information.

“I often search international data through WHO sites. On January 30, I saw the map of India in blue colour and Jammu and Kashmir coloured separately. When I clicked on the blue part, it showed the data of India. But when I clicked the yellow part, it showed the data of Pakistan,” Sen said in the Rajya Sabha.

He said that another part of Jammu and Kashmir was separately coloured and it showed the Covid data of China. Seeking the government’s attention, Sen claimed that “Arunachal Pradesh was also demarcated very separately”.

Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu asked External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar to take note of the issue. When the government is so much pro-active in purchasing Pegasus for spying its own Ministers and opposition leaders like Abhishek Banerjee, it should have been much more vigilant on this issue, Sen said.
