Kakching: The Kakching District Administration continued the three-day Public Welfare Camp, “Jan Kalyan Shivir” at SDO Office Complex, Waikhong with an aim to ensure effective outreach and saturation of welfare & beneficiary oriented schemes of both the Central and State Governments to every eligible citizen. Tomorrow the final Jan Kalyan Shivir camp will be held at DC Office Complex, Kakching from 11 am to 3 pm.

Also, Deputy Commissioner of Kakching, Angeline Renita R, IAS, also inspected the various service counters to ensure that eligible beneficiaries are not left behind and distributed Chief Ministergi Shotharabasingi Tengbang (CMST) welfare scheme cards to differently-abled beneficiaries and their representatives.

Around 380 applications were disposed at the venue. Various services were offered at the camp, including enrolment under the Manipur Old Age Pension Scheme (MOAPS), Chief Minister’s Widow Pension Scheme, on-the-spot registration under schemes of the Horticulture Department, PM-KISAN, Kisan Credit Card (KCC), revenue bill payment services, Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY) enrolment, Chief Minister-gi Hakshelgi Tengbang (CMHT), Startup Manipur Scheme and several other citizen-centric services provided by different government departments. Phurailatpam Bhavananda, MCS, Additional District Magistrate Kakching; Okram Sandhyarani, MCS, AC to DC; Shri Maisnam Binbin, SDC HQ Waikhong and other district-level officers were also present during the programm
