Damascus: An Israeli missile attack hit the Aleppo International Airport in northern Syria on Saturday night, media reports said.
The Israeli attack is the second to hit the airport within three days, according to the Syrian state TV.
On Thursday, Israel hit the international airports of the capital Damascus, and Aleppo, rendering them temporarily out of service after damaging the runways, Xinhua news reports.
On Saturday, the Syrian transportation ministry said that the Aleppo airport returned to service after the damage was fixed.
State TV said the damage assessment is underway to determine the size of the overnight attack.
