Shillong: The Indian Air Force (IAF) and Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) and) on Thursday held an interactive session at the Eastern Air Command (EAC) headquarters in Shillong for joint collaboration in addressing key issues of the North East region.
The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, EAC Air Marshal S.P Dharkar.
“The meeting comprehensively discussed road map for strengthening the North East Sector with focus on addressing IAF’s challenges and issues in the region,” a defence statement said.
BEL promised a proactive role in product and maintenance support, and showcased their indigenous efforts towards building a Atmanirbhar Bharat, the statement said.
