Dharamshala: The number of the fresh Covid 19 cases in the state detected during the last 24 hours stood at 77.
The fresh cases tested positive on Saturday for the lethal novel Cornelius, in Himachal Pradesh pushing the Himachal Pradesh state caseload to 313416.
Among the fresh cases 23 is highest number in the state from Shimla followed by 20 in Mandi, 16 from Kangra district and 6 from Hamirpur district of Himachal Pradesh.
Spokeman of the Health Department told UNI that all the 77 fresh cases who have tested positive today have been isolated as per the protocol.
The spokesman said that today there was no Covid death reported from any part of this hill state thus the death toll remained stagnant at 4194.
He said that the number of active cases has further gone up to 410 against 354 on Friday. He said that the number of Active cases included
59 from Solan, 98 from Mandi, 92 from Shimla, 67 from KÃ ngra, 32 from Hamirpur, 12 from Bilaspur and 9 each from Chamba and Kinnour districts of this hill state.
The sources told UNI that there were 21 recoveries today in the state, thus keeping the number of the recovered patients at 308791 today.
He said that there were 1284 samples collected today for testing.
He said that on Saturday 1 COVID 19 patient was admitted in a hospital in this hill state however the number of the active admissions has remained 12 and no Covid 19 patient was discharged after getting cured from any hospital of the state today.
