Shimla: Four members of a family including three children died in a house fire mishap that occurred at Karatosh village of Churah Tehsil in Chamba district in Himachal Pradesh earlier on Tuesday morning.
State Disaster management authority spokesperson Sudesh Mokta said that fire broke out in the house of Rafi Mohd. at 0300 hrs on Tuesday about 85 km from district headquarters.
In this incident, four persons namely Rafi Mohd. (25 yrs), his three children including two daughters Jaitun (6) & Julkha (2) and a son Samir (4) burnt and died on the spot and his wife was injured.
The cause of the fire could not be ascertained.
SHO of Police station Tissa along with a police party rushed to the spot.
District administration has directed Kanungo Tissa to submit the details of incidents to provide relief to the affected family.
