Mumbai: Leader of Opposition in State assembly Ajit Pawar on Monday made a serious allegation in the House through ‘Point of Procedure’ that many customs, traditions and rules are being ignored in recent times.


The functioning of the Legislative Houses is governed by the Indian Constitution, rules, customs and traditions, he said .


The members do not get information about the acceptance or rejection of the suggestions submitted by the members using various arms, the list of reduction suggestions is not given to all the members, also information should be given whether this list has been sent to the ministerial departments for action or not, and ‘Order of the Day’ on the website after twelve o’clock at night.


Mr Pawar also demanded that the members and the ministers do not get the information about the next day’s work as it is given, but he also demanded that the rules and traditions of the House be properly followed by correcting this immediately.


In the meantime, Assembly Speaker Rahul Narvekar promised to make appropriate amendments.
