Itanagar: The Arunachal Pradesh government has set up a Help Desk-cum-Covid-19 Facilitation Center at the Arunachal Tourist Information Counter in Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International (LGBI) Airport in Guwahati for assisting Arunachali passengers travelling by air.
The eight-member help desk will help the air passengers of the state maintaining coordination with Covid-19 duty officials of the Assam government at the airport. They will make necessary arrangements for ambulance/transport on payment basis for state’s Covid-19 patient for further transportation Covid care facilities/hospitals in Guwahati/to native district of the patient in Arunachal as per requirement and in accordance with the Covid-19 protocol of the Assam government.
The help desk will also attend distress calls of any Arunachal Covid-19 patient living in Guwahati city for necessary assistance.
