Haryana bags six gold medals in Sub-Junior National Judo

Delhi also registered an impressive performance as Yuvika (44 kgs), Daechan Stanzan (52 kgs) and Sofia (48 kgs) claimed first positions in their respective weight categories.

Chandigarh: Haryana boys bagged three gold medals in the Sub-Junior National Judo Championship 2021-22, organized by Judo Federation of India at Chandigarh University here.

Aakash Inder Singh(45kgs), Jatin (60 kgs) and Krish Sharma (66 kgs) won gold medals in their respective categories for Haryana.
Punjab claimed two gold medals through Sahil (35 kgs) and Nakul Arora (50 kgs).

Mayank Tokas of Delhi (49 kgs) and Rishav Swarn of Bihar (66 kg) captured gold medals in their respective weight categories.
In the girl’s section, Haryana and Delhi bagged three gold medals each. Manpreet Rani (-57 kg), Garima (-40 kg) and Vanshika (-32 kg) were the gold medallists bringing the Haryana gold medal tally to six.

45 kgs: 1 Aakash Inder Singh (Haryana), 2 Abhishek Yadav (UP), 3 L Satish (Tel) and Sonu (Raj).
50 kgs: 1 Nakul Arora (Pun), 2 Pruthviraj Shelar (MHB), 3 Vinay Acharya (Raj), and Yuvraj Singh

Girls: 28 kgs: 1 Hambati (CG), 2 Vaishnavi Aher (MBH), 3 Simranjit Kaur (Pun) and S Rithnya (TN).
32 kgs : 1 Vanshika (Har), 2 Nikita (UP), 3 Amreen Firdosh (MP) and Mamta Poyam (CG).(

40kgs: 1 Garima (Har), 2 Angel Yadav (Chd), 3 Jhuma (Aktar) (TRP) and Khushboo (Del).
44 kgs: 1 Yuvika (Del), 2 Rita Kashyap (UP), 3 Arshad Adn (JK) and Nhakti Bhosale (MHB),
48 kgs: 1 Sofia (Del), 2 Sonal (Pun), 3 Meenakshi Bhagat (JK) and Chandini Yadav (CG),
