Imphal: The Governor of Manipur, Ajay Kumar Bhalla, today inaugurated the newly constructed girls’ hostel, Lakshmi Bai House, at Sainik School Imphal. Following the inauguration, the Governor interacted with the students of the school and encouraged them to pursue their education with dedication, discipline and confidence.
Later, the Governor, accompanied by the First Lady, Jyoti Bhalla, visited the Sainik Foundation School, where a brief welcome programme was organised. The visit highlighted the importance of providing students with a supportive and conducive environment for learning, growth and overall development.
GOC Red Shield Division and Chairman of Local Board of Administration (LBA), Major General Subhankar Basu; Principal Col A Rajiv along with other dignitaries were present during the brief programme.
