Shillong: In a significant effort to enhance healthcare services in the region, Meghalaya Governor Phagu Chauhan donated and officially launched an ambulance for Seva Bharati Meghalaya during a ceremony at Raj Bhavan on Tuesday.

This donation marks a crucial milestone for Seva Bharati Meghalaya, which expressed deep appreciation for this vital contribution.

The handover event was attended by Principal Secretary to the Governor, Harish Chandra Chaudhary, as well as officers and staff of Raj Bhavan, Shillong, and members of Seva Bharati Meghalaya.

Seva Bharati Meghalaya is a social service organization registered under the Meghalaya Societies Registration Act in 1995. Over the past 18 years, it has expanded its services across all districts of Meghalaya, focusing on healthcare, education, vocational training, and cultural and national integration programs.
