Imphal: Girls outshined boys in the Higher Secondary Examination 2022 conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur with all the three top positions in arts and commerce were girls while in the science stream the topper was a boy while the second and third positions were girls.
The results for all the streams were declared on Monday by Education Minister, Th Basanta at the office of the Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur.
Rahul Naorem of Xtra Edge school, Ghari got the first position getting 478 marks while the second position went to Kshetrimayum Rajshree of Millennium Institute of Sciences, while the third position went to Wairokpam Anupriya Devi of Herbert school, Changangei.
In the arts stream, all the three toppers were girls from the same school, Golmei Gaihemmei got the first position getting 459 while Raniya Soibam also of the same school got second position, while Naorem Jessica Devi of Enlighten knowledge higher secondary school, Sangakpham got the third position.
In commerce stream, Abujam Anjali Devi of SDJM higher secondary school, got the first position securing 424 while Niangbiaklun of V.K. Tawna college got the second position while Tongbram Luxmi Devi of SDJM higher secondary school got the third position.
The pass percentage for Arts was 91, for Science 90 and Commerce 89.
